Privacy Policy

At PasswordGen Pro, your privacy and security are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to protecting your data when using our password generation service.

1. No Data Collection

We do not collect any personal information or passwords from users.

PasswordGen Pro operates entirely within your browser. All password generation occurs locally on your device. We have no servers that store or process your passwords, and we have no ability to access any passwords you generate.

2. How Our Generator Works

Our password generator uses your browser' built-in cryptographically secure random number generator to create passwords. The entire process happens on your device, and no information is transmitted over the internet during password generation.

3. Clipboard Usage

When you click "Copy to Clipboard," the password is temporarily stored in your device's clipboard. We recommend clearing your clipboard after pasting the password in your desired location for maximum security. We have no access to or control over your clipboard data.

4. Analytics, Cookies, and Advertising

Our website uses minimal analytics to understand general usage patterns. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individual users. We use essential cookies to ensure the website functions properly.

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense, a service provided by Google LLC, to display advertisements on our website. Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Additionally, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' uses of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

Data Processing

Please note that Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our website. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

5. Your Privacy Choices

You have several choices regarding the use of cookies and tracking technologies on our website:

  • Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. The Help portion of your browser's toolbar can tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether.
  • Google Analytics Opt-out: To provide website visitors the ability to prevent their data from being used by Google Analytics, Google has developed the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This add-on instructs the Google Analytics JavaScript not to send information to Google Analytics.
  • Do Not Track: Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. These features are not yet uniform, so we do not currently respond to such signals.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or regulatory changes. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
